Consuming healthy food fuels the body and mind – We see the rising popularity of organic food in Singapore as organic food claims to be free of pesticides, hormones, and fertilisers.
We know that organic food might not be as readily accessible in terms of the places that sell organic food and also the higher price points. However, we hope this list makes your search for organic produce a tad bit easier!

One thing that differentiates The Green Girl from the other organic food stores out there is the fact that their products (including fresh produce) mostly originate from France. With the French organic certification, it certainly helps them stand out amongst the crowd.
They offer a wide range of products from chocolate spreads, cheese, nuts and even organic baking ingredients. Customers have remarked that ordering from The Green Girl brings back memories of heading to the village market while holidaying in Europe.
If you’re planning your deliveries, they only deliver once a week on Saturdays with a flat rate of S$12. Delivery is free for orders above S$180.

We understand that not everyone would have the time and the budget to search for and only consume organic produce and thus we hope this list makes the search for organic food a tad bit easier. Remember, the key to a healthy lifestyle is not so much as to whether the food you consume is organic or not but rather if you’re having a nutritious and balanced diet. If you find yourself having to forgo nutritious fruits and vegetables just because they are not organic, it is likely not worth it as one’s health might in turn be negatively impacted in the future.
Growing Needs grew out of our own encounters with caring for our aging parents and reflecting on the Growing Needs that we ourselves would face as we advance in years. We hope to build a community that will learn, share and contribute towards caring for the growing needs of our loved ones.
