Palliative care organisations play an essential role in easing the transition at the end of life, offering comprehensive support that extends beyond medical care to encompass emotional, psychological, and spiritual well-being. By prioritising comfort, dignity, and quality of life, these organisations help patients and their families navigate the complexities of end-of-life decisions with compassion and expertise. Their commitment to personalised care ensures that each individual’s final journey is met with empathy, respect, and a sense of peace, making a significant difference in the lives of those they serve.
Growing Needs grew out of our own encounters with caring for our aging parents and reflecting on the Growing Needs that we ourselves would face as we advance in years. We hope to build a community that will learn, share and contribute towards caring for the growing needs of our loved ones.
