There are food and grocery stores that offer our senior citizens a discount to hopefully help reduce the stress of coping with their lifestyle. Here are 6 stores that offer senior citizens discounts in Singapore!
Known to be one of the largest supermarket chains in Singapore, NTUC has several schemes to support senior citizens to purchase their necessities while keeping up with the rising cost of living.
NTUC is offering a 3% discount on Mondays for Pioneer Generation cardholders. Seniors who were born on or before 31 December 1949, and became a Singapore citizen on or before 31 December 1986 are eligible to sign up. Seniors can plan their groceries and head down to their nearby NTUC to enjoy this discount! All they have to do is to show Pioneer Generation card when paying at the counter.
Every Tuesday, NTUC is offering a 2% discount for all Senior shoppers aged 60 years and above. All the senior shoppers need to be present at the counter when checking out to show their NRIC and successfully obtain the discount!
On Wednesdays, Pioneer & Merdeka Generation cardholders get to enjoy a 3% discount on their total amount spent at NTUC. Seniors who are Pioneer & Merdeka Generation cardholders must be present to show Pioneer or Merdeka Generation card to enjoy the discount.
On Thursdays, CHAS Blue cardholders can enjoy 3% off their total bill upon checkout.
Giant’s Senior Citizen Discount has been changed from 5-days weekdays to 1-day Tuesdays only, with an increased discount of 4%. Eligible for all Singapore Citizen and PR aged 60 years old and above. Please present your ID for verification upon payment.
Exclusion list for discount are applied for: Tobacco and cigarettes, newspaper and magazines, infant milk powder, phone cards, Dairy Farm Gift Vouchers, lottery and purchases from concessionaires. Furthermore, this discount is not applicable for online purchases.

Senior Citizens above 60 get to enjoy 4% discount on every Tuesday and Wednesday for the entire 2024! Simply flash your NRIC as proof of your identity at the cashier upon payment and enjoy the 4% special discount every Tuesday and Wednesday within the spending limit of $200 per receipt for eligible customers.
Renowned for its quality and variety, Cold Storage is known for their quality and variety in Singapore’s supermarket scene. Senior shoppers aged 60 and above can save more on Wednesdays. By presenting their NRIC upon payment, they gain access to a 3% discount on their overall purchase.
