As one approaches their silver years, one would likely choose to age gracefully with dignity and stay as healthy as possible. However, we know for a fact that that might not always be the case. Thankfully, there are opportunities around which supports seniors and allows seniors to make the best out of their silver years. From courses which offer tips on how to manage one’s medical conditions to activities organised specially for seniors to interact with other seniors, there are a plethora of courses and workshops to help seniors make the best out of their silver years.

Quiet Mornings at the Museum National Museum 93 Stamford Rd, Singapore 178897 Sat 0900 – 1100 hrs

The museum has designated the first Saturday of every month (9am to 11am), and the first and third Thursdays of each month (9am to 12noon) as Quiet Mornings. All galleries will open earlier at 9am.

Drop-in activities and old games will be available at our drop-in stations on Quiet Mornings taking place on the first Thursday of each month

22-Dec Decasilver: Dance Your Heart Out! National Library Board Jurong Regional Library (Programme Zone Level 1)

1400 – 1530 hrs Decasilver is a highly energetic and interactive workshop that will heighten your kinetic and cognitive well-being. This workshop features a purposefully curated blend of dance, music, tactile props, conversations, rhythm, breathing, and vocal exercises. Led by experienced dance facilitators, you are sure to leave the session feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

This programme/event is open to members of the National Library Board, Singapore and those who are aged 50 years and above.
